Volunteer and help build eERC
Parent involvement is a vital part of sustaining and growing the club. Parents prepare and serve food during regattas, assist with fundraising projects and recruiting efforts, and manage the day-to-day operations of the club. Many bonds are shared among athletes and families in the community of this family-friendly sport.
Volunteer positions include:
Membership Manager: Ensures that all rowers have signed the necessary waivers, have valid USRowing memberships, and have submitted swim test forms. This position is busy during seasonal registration time, but is otherwise not a major commitment.
Fundraising Committee Member: Assists the board with planning and running fundraisers.
Regatta Coordinator: Works with the coaching staff to coordinate regatta travel and logistics and communicates those logistics to parents and rowers.
Nutrition Coordinator: Plans and coordinates meals for rowers at regattas.
Uniforms Coordinator: Works with our uniform vendors to place uniform orders.
Summer Camp Coordinator: Works with the coaching staff to market summer camps, coordinate registration & t-shirt purchases, and other camp logistics.
Website/Technical Manager: Manages our website, email systems and registration system.
